Potential Performance Assessment of Coastal Urban Sewer Network according to Sea Level Rise

The rise in sea levels due to climate change causes a decrease the discharge capacity of sewer pipes and an increase risk urban inundation encroaching outfall coast. Therefore, it is crucial quantitatively evaluate predict increasing degree properly respond that aggravated by effects rising levels. In this study, two research areas were selected consideration regional characteristics coastal area level scenarios. areas, performance network was quantified through reliability technique. Accordingly, Disaster Prevention Performance Target Rainfall according analyzed reevaluated. results showed target rainfall for disaster prevention duration Wando 35.6% 41.7% Sacheon, 36.7% 67.5% under influence approximate highest high water.
